He put each of his answers below the corresponding question, in parentheses and all caps. Go figure... :-) - - - from Michael Landis: 1. Has Chris Silveira seen the play "Tomorrowland" by Neena Beber which focused on a fictional tv show "Emily's Room" which bears a suspicious resemblance to CEIA. Is Chris familiar with the play and if so how much of a roman a clef is it? (I HAVE NOT SEEN THE PLAY, BUT BY CHANCE I SPOKE WITH NEENA YESTERDAY TO SAY HELLO AND CATCH UP ON OUR LIVES SINCE CEIA. NEENA CONTINUES TO WRITE FOR FILM,TV & STAGE) from Paul Booth: 2. I think the obviouse one as far as current threads go is how much control Paula had in procceedings during filming of CEIA? and his opinion as to if she's a 'pushy broad' or not? (Note: This is after someone who works on 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch' responded during an IRC chat to the question, "what's Mrs. Hart like? we've speculated on the clarissa mailing list that she may be something of a pushy showbiz mom... what's your impression?" by saying "ummmmmm no comment go with what you feel".) (PAULA WAS ALWAYS PLEASENT TO DEAL WITH AND I FOUND HER TO BE A SMART LADY WHO WANTED TO MAKE SURE WE TOOK GOOD CARE OF DAUGHTER, WHICH WE DID) Paul again: 3. As for myself, you could ask him if he's got any of them autographed scripts left.....I'm special and I'm a kid ..... at heart :-] (I DON'T HAVE THAT MANY LEFT AND AGAIN, I SAVE THEM FOR "MAKE A WISH KIDS", ETC.) Chris Hanson speculated recently on the list: 4. I has watching CEIA #123 Misguidance Counseler today [...]. Anyway when Clarissa is imagining herself as Ms. Cheesebrow she is straightening up a younger brown haired girl. The facial structure and eyebrows (since we only get a profile of her) made me think it is probably Elizabeth Hart [...] (THAT NAME DOES NOT RING A BELL, BUT THE WOMAN WHO PLAYED MRS. CHEESEBROW (NANCY YOUNGBLUT) PLAYED JANET DARLING IN THE PILOT EPISODE) from me: 5. Mitchell Kriegman couldn't remember much about his appearance(s) on the show. He said, "I think there was some scene on a ship with a piano and a disaster of some kind" Do you know have any other info about M.K., other crew members, family members, etc., on CEIA? (THERE WERE QUITE OF FEW FOLKS THAT WORKED AT THE STUDIO THAT SERVED AS EXTRAS IN VARIOUS EPISODES. ALMOST EVERYONE YOU SEE ON THE PIRATE'S SHIP IN EPS#121, "THE UNDERSTUDY" FALL INTO THAT CATEGORY. THIS WOULD BE P.A.'S ON THE SHOW AS WELL AS PROP PEOPLE & STAGEHANDS. THIS WAS THE SHOW THAT WAS DIRECTED BY RICHARD STEIR, WHO WAS THE A.D. ON MANY EPISODES. RICHARD HAD BROEKN HIS LEG IN AN ACCIDENT THE WEEKEND BEFORE THE SHOOT SO HE DIRECTED FROM A WHEELCHAIR, WHICH WAS NOT EASY AS THE CONTROL ROOM IS ON THE 2ND FLOOR OF OUR BUILDING WITH THE SOUNDSTAGE BEING ON TH 1ST FLOOR. ANOTHER EPISODE ("LIFE OF CRIME?????) WHERE YOU WILL SEE LOTS OF FOLKS FROM THE STUDIO IS THE ONE WHERE CLARISSA AND SAM ARE OUTLAWS IN THE OLD WEST. I PLAYED A BAILIF IN A COURTROOM SCENE IN ONE EPISODE AND MY SON WAS AN EXTRA IN THE EPISODE WHERE JANET BRINGS THE KIDS FROM THE MUSEUM TO HER HOUSE. ANYTIMEYOU SEE A LARGE CROWD SCENE IN A SHOW, FIGURE ABOUT 1/2 OF THOSE PEOPLE WORK ON THE SHOW OR AT THE STUDIO) 6. Would you happen to know who plays Clarissa as a baby in the opening scene of "Blind Date" (#139)? (NO, BUT AKSED ME AGAIN AS I WILL TRY TO FIND OUT) 7. In many (if not all) CEIA episodes, there's a picture on Clarissa's mirror of a bride and groom. Do you know who it is in that picture? (SAME ANSWER AS QUESTION #6) 8. Melissa has mentioned a "blooper" tape and Mitchell said he had some great "wrap tapes" somewhere. Do you have any such stuff? Any chance we could get our hands on it? :-) (ON ANY SHOW WE ALWAYS KEEP NOTE ON WHERE THE GOOD BLOOPERS ARE FOR 2 REASONS. THEY MAKE FOR GREAT "WRAP TAPES", WHICH WE PLAY AT OUR WRAP PARTIES, AND BECAUSE IT'S A REQUIREMENT FROM PROGRAMMING SO WHEN DICK CLARK'S PEOPLE CALL WE HAVE SOMETHING TO SEND THEM. THE TAPES ARE FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY SO WE CAN'T SEND THEM OUT. SORRY!!!!!!!!) 9. Mitchell said, "Elizabeth Hess last time I heard is a screenwriter". You know anything about this? Any more "where they are now" info about other cast members? (YOU KNOW WHERE MELISSA IS AND LAST TIME I SAW HER WAS AT THE "KIDS CHOICE AWARDS" IN APRIL. JASON IS GOING TO SCHOOL AT NOTRE DAME AND WE STAY IN TOUCH VIA E-MAIL. I'VE LOST TOUCH WITH THE REST OF THEM.) - - - So, there's the first batch. Anyone have more questions for him? Follow-ups? I know I still have a bunch... :-) - dcljr "I wanna show ya somethin'..." - Marshall in his natural hippie state in "Ferguson Explains It All" (#161) [I love the way he says this line!]
